On 21 September 2017, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world. The theme for 2017 is “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All.”

In observance of the day, UNISFA will hold a one-day sports competition between UN peacekeepers and community youth dubbed as “Peace Day Friendship Games” on 21 September, Thursday at the new cafeteria area.
