On 3 December 2021, Public Information Office and UN Mine Action organized a photojournalism training for journalists working for Abyei FM. The one-day training was conducted at the Abyei FM premises in Agok. Ten journalists attended the training. This is the second photojournalism training organised by PIO for media practitioners in the Abyei box. The first was held at the UNISFA offices in November. The trainings are part of PIO efforts to strengthen engagement with the local media through capacity building efforts that seek to promote professional journalism in the Abyei Box.
