On 13 March, UNISFA celebrated International Women’s Day at the mission headquarters to highlight the contributions of uniformed and civilian peacekeepers to its mandate implementation.
On 8 March, UNISFA in conjunction with the Abyei Women’s Union commemorated the International Women’s Day in Abyei.

UNISFA has officially joined the Pilot Network for Uniformed Women Peacekeepers. A launch ceremony was held at the mission headquarters on 21 November, marking a significant step towards the attainment of gender parity and inclusion.
