English language training for Abyei Journalists Public Information Office officially launched English  language training for Abyei journalists in November 2021.

As part of efforts to support journalists in Abyei. UNISFA Public Information Office and the UNMAS have launched a series of journalism trainings for media practitioners based in Abyei.

The four-day peace conference between the Ngok Dinka and Misseriya in Aweil (22-25 Feb), is addressing critical issues affecting the two communities that hinder peaceful coexistence. Among the issues are curbing of acts of criminality in Abyei Area and resolving of disagreements.
