On 30 November, peacekeepers from the Vietnamese Engineering Company handed over a fully repaired boat to the Mijak Community. The Commissioner of Mijak County, Mr. Luar Mayol Deng, and Chief of Mijak, Mr. Bagat Makuac Abeim, were present to witness the event.

Representatives from the community expressed their appreciation to the Vietnamese peacekeepers for the boat repair, emphasizing its crucial role in the community's livelihood and transportation needs. Given the significance of fishing and river crossings for the community, they requested additional support to aid their crossing of the River Kiir.
